Sr. Network Engineer – MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN LOWCOUNTRY, SC AREA (Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, etc.)
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with extensive hands-on/technical expertise configuring and installing Palo Alto network firewalls, Cisco Meraki, and some SolarWinds. This is a traveling position with up to 75% travel around Charleston and Columbia SC locations.
Qualifications of the Sr. Network Engineer:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years Networking experience
- 5+ plus years of experience within network infrastructure, server, and system administration operations.
- Ability to design, configure, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Ability to design, configure, and manage configurations within the SolarWinds environment.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Network Engineer:
- Review network changes and trends in order to forecast future needs while determining and correcting complex network problems to region offices.
- Work with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences of varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or Point of Contact (POC) for developing and managing processes related to IT Services projects.
Work Location: HYBRID ONSITE/REMOTE BASED IN LOWCOUNTRY, SC. Some travel across South Carolina WILL BE REQUIED on as-needed basis.
